Connections is a monthly support group for persons over the age of 65 with a diagnosis of early stage dementia to attend with their spouse or family member. Participants can share information and meet others. It is an opportunity to find ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle and help improve coping skills. A program offering weekly music and good fun for dementia partners (caregiver and person with dementia). This recreation program, led by trained volunteers, offers an opportunity for dementia partners to spend time listening to music, singing, and creating music with perhaps the odd dance.
