Arts and Minds – Create with Paint

About This Program

Join Instructor Liz Spence weekly to create your own work of art using a variety of themes and materials from watercolour and acrylic paints to pencils, and more. These weekly sessions provide a space for participants to express themselves creatively and to socialize with other attendees and volunteers. Participants will leave each session with a new colourful piece to take home. No prior arts experience required. Materials and instruction are provided, all you have to do is register.

The Arts and Minds series is an opportunity for people living with dementia and their partner or a friend to explore and experience art. Working on art projects creates a sense of accomplishment, purpose, and provides an opportunity for self-expression.
