Dancer Not Dementia

About This Program

Join us for an interactive session of dance!  Canada’s National Ballet School is offering innovative, community-oriented dance workshops to people living with dementia, their caregivers and families.

Join us and learn more about Sharing Dance Older Adults programs, developed by Canada’s National Ballet School (NBS) and Baycrest, industry leaders in dance training and geriatric care. More than just physical activity, dance is an artistic experience that taps into imagination, self-expression, and a sense of connection and community. During this interactive presentation, you will have the opportunity to hear more about the benefits of dance for older adults living with dementia and how to access engaging and meaningful dance programming for older adults. Chairs will be provided at the venue.

No experience is necessary.
