Support Group, In-person Event
Our caregiver peer support groups provide a safe environment to learn, share, express and help each other through mutual understanding and support. These groups are co-facilitated by an individual with lived experience with dementia, and a trained Dementia Society Care Coach. Experience a compassionate environment and receive up-to-date, accurate information.
Caregivers often experience many types of grief throughout the dementia journey: ongoing grief, anticipatory grief, complex grief, and end of life grief. In this peer support group, you will have the opportunity to meet others experiencing grief in dementia, share your story, gain, and give support, and learn more about the importance of grief in life. This group can help you process the complex feeling of grief with people on a similar journey.
