About This Program

Join us for the fifth installment of The Dementia Society’s Women’s Mind Matters lecture series, focusing on knowing your risks and knowing your numbers. Dr. Louise Laramée, MD FRCPC Cardiologist at the Montfort Hospital will present at the event. She will share how we can better manage our physical health and wellness and reduce our risk of developing dementia.

About Louise Laramée

Dr. Louise Laramée is a cardiovascular specialist, interventional cardiologist now working in cardiac rehabilitation.  She is a Distinguished Teacher at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ottawa and has served as assistant Dean of Student Affairs and director of clinical skills for our medical students. She is a member and secretary of the Board of Directors of The Dementia Society.
