About This Program

Les séances offrent aux proches aidants de l’information sur les symptômes qui pourraient se manifester à mesure que la maladie progressera.

Les proches aidants y apprendront des stratégies de soutien aux personnes atteintes. Ils pourront aussi obtenir de l’information et du soutien, discuter de leur expérience et exprimer leurs émotions dans un environnement sûr. Les séances reposent sur une approche positive et visent à aider les proches aidants à maintenir et à renforcer leurs compétences et leurs habiletés.

Les sujets suivants seront abordés :

• la progression de la démence;

• les stratégies de communication et de gestion des comportements;

• les stratégies d’amélioration de la résilience des proches aidants.

La formation comporte deux séances de deux heures chacune.
