About This Program

Learn about the heart and the brain: the cardiovascular connection with Dr. Louise Laramée, MD.

The Dementia Society invites you to the third event in our Y♀ur Brain Health Series. In the third webinar of this series, we will discuss about vascular dementia, who is at risk and prevention methods with Dr. Louise Laramée who specializes in internal medicine and cardiology.

The webinar will end with a special Q&A session with our expert speaker who will answer all your vascular health and dementia related queries.

We hope you can join The Dementia Society ’s third webinar of our Y♀ur Brain Health series, and help us form a like-minded community of women seeking to empower themselves to prevent and delay dementia.

About Louise Laramée

Dr. Louise Laramée is a cardiovascular specialist, interventional cardiologist now working in cardiac rehabilitation. She is a Distinguished Teacher at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ottawa and has served as assistant Dean of Student Affairs and director of clinical skills for our medical students. She is a member and secretary of the Board of Directors of The Dementia Society.
