On May 12th, at Tunney’s Pasture, with the support of over 700 participants, the Walk for Dementia™ raised over $220,000 (and counting) for The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County. The success of Ottawa’s Walk was made possible through the generosity of its founding sponsor, Collins Barrow Ottawa LLP Chartered Professional Accountants.
We cannot thank you enough! Thousands of donors and over 100 event volunteers worked together with The Dementia Society, to make a difference for local families living with dementia. All funds raised stay in the local community to provide support, education, navigation and resources.
For those who weren’t able to make it out to the event, there’s still time to give and make a difference, as donations received until June 30 will be added to the Walk for DementiaTM’s total. Visit www.dsorcwebsiteold.kinsta.cloud or call 613-523-4004 to make a donation.
