In-Person Support Group in May at The Dementia Society Centre

About This Program

Gather with other caregivers at The Dementia Society Centre in a supportive and understanding environment. In a typical session, you’ll have the opportunity to share personal experiences, discuss caregiving strategies, and learn from others. Led by a Care Coach and a peer caregiver, this group encourages open dialogue and offers access to up-to-date resources.

Benefits of attending: Build meaningful connections, gain valuable insights, and find encouragement to face caregiving challenges with confidence.

A social group for individuals living with dementia runs concurrently at this location.

This program is intended for caregivers, care partners, family members, or friends.

Please note that you must register online to join this program. If you are bringing the person you are caring for, you will be able to let us know during the registration process.

Furthermore, to assist with staff scheduling for the activity group for people living with dementia, if you have registered a person living with dementia to join the activity group, we kindly ask that you notify us at least one day in advance if they no longer plan to attend.

If any issues arise during the registration process, please call 613-523-4004 ext. 2 for support.

Please note the group is now being held on the third Wednesday of the month, rather than the Friday.
