The day is almost here!
Join us this Sunday September 21 as we walk for awareness, for connection, and for change.
Bring your team, your spirit, and your stories. Whether you’re walking in honour, in memory, or in support — every step makes a difference.
Friends, family and community come together for a one kilometre walk, accompanied by live music, entertainment and activities for all age groups from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Walk Day Highlights:
1K walk in honour, memory and support of those living with dementia and their caregivers
Live music from pop, rock, R&B, folk and soul “good times” band The Mystics, as well as food trucks, treats, and activities for all ages
Kid Zone, with a bouncy castle, as well as games and face painting
Swag—including event t-shirts ($20, cash preferred but cards accepted)
Free coffee courtesy of Starbucks and breakfast from United Airlines
Anyone raising $250 or more will receive a coupon for a free serving of ice cream! (This applies to individual fundraising, not team fundraising.)

The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County is holding our annual Walk for Dementia, a 30-year community fundraising tradition where friends, family and community come together for a 1 km walk, accompanied by live music, entertainment and activities for all age groups from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday September 21st.
Thanks to Baker Tilly Ottawa LLP paying the processing fees, 100 percent of your gift goes directly to support caregivers and people living with dementia.
