Please be advised that the Walk for Dementia has been postponed and will not be taking place on Saturday, May 9th as planned
Due to the continuing spread of COVID-19 and with the health and safety of our staff, clients and volunteers top of mind, The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County has made the decision to postpone the Walk for Dementia until a later date.
We will be exploring different options for the Walk for Dementia and will continue to communicate with you regularly by email in the coming weeks. You can also check the website at www.walkfordementia.ca and you may still register and fundraise in anticipation of the event's rescheduling.
We know now more than ever that people living with dementia, their caregivers and their families need the support of their community and we continue to provide support and on-line services to ensure that No One Should Face Dementia Alone.
More information on how we can help is available at www.DementiaHelp.ca
Thank you for your understanding,
The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County
