Financial Information for Caregivers

About This Program

A dementia diagnosis can bring added financial and legal complexities. This session begins with a short presentation by CPA Carol Skillen, followed by an open conversation and group discussion. Together, we will explore how dementia can affect financial well-being, including managing finances, the role and responsibilities of a power of attorney, disability credits, taxes, and planning for the future.

This session is suited for individuals living with dementia, caregivers, and family members who want to better understand financial and legal considerations related to dementia and feel more confident making informed decisions.
