Lending Library

The Dementia Society Lending Library is available for people living with dementia and caregivers. Check out our assortment of activity packages, companion animals, dolls, technology and other items available to loan for free.

In-person Event
Instructor, Liz Spence will guide participants through an art class where participants will use water colours and crayons to paint. Reference images will also be provided to help participants to enjoy an easy and colourful art class.
Virtual Event
In this three-part meditation series, caregivers will learn simple practices to nurture the body, calm the mind, and restore inner balance. Each session supports a sense of peace and well-being. Recordings will be available.
In-person Event
Daisy on the Go is a social program designed to provide a welcoming and enjoyable experience for both people with early to moderate dementia and their caregivers, offering fun outings like live music, bowling, and museum visits from 10 AM–12 PM. Entry and refreshments are covered. Reserve your spot, spaces are limited!

Experience the joy and the power of music. Joyful Sound Ottawa is an intergenerational community choir for people with memory loss, their caregivers, and friends. Participants will form a choir and sing along with their peers resulting in a performance at the end of the series.

Join us in-person at the Dementia Society Centre on the last Tuesday of the month to participate in Turquoise Live with Sid and Chris.  Our animated and energetic group leaders, Chris White and Sid Ameen, engage participants using rhythm, song, gesture, dance, and humour in the spirit of friendship and fun.
