Women's Mind Matters

The Dementia Society is thrilled to invite you to our Women's Mind Matters lecture series and to tour you around our fabulous new location.

Join us for our first in-person event of The Dementia Society’s Women’s Mind Matters lecture series. This exclusive (invite-only) event is an opportunity to connect and learn among those who have been partaking in our focused series on women’s brain health over the past year.

This will be the fifth installment of the Women’s Mind Matters lecture series, focusing on knowing your risks and knowing your numbers. Dr. Louise Laramée, MD FRCPC Cardiologist at the Montfort Hospital will present at the event. She will share how we can better manage our physical health and wellness and reduce our risk of developing dementia.

Event Highlights

  • Keynote speech by Dr. Louise Laramée
  • Tour of the new Dementia Society Centre
  • Key of Happiness Concert
  • Network with empowered women in the community
  • Light refreshments and healthy bites by local businesses

There is no admission fee but we would welcome your financial support of this event. We suggest a donation of $40 to recognize the 40 years we have been supporting the people of Ottawa and Renfrew County.
